Infopath Academy is committed to providing a fair, transparent, organised, and professional admission process for all prospective pupils and students.
This policy explains the conditions, procedures, requirements, and responsibilities that guide admission into Infopath Academy. It applies to all applicants seeking admission into Early Years, Primary, Junior Secondary, and Senior Secondary sections of the school.
Purpose of the Policy
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that admission into Infopath Academy is handled in a fair, consistent, and structured manner. It helps parents and guardians understand the admission process, application requirements, assessment procedures, payment expectations, and conditions for final enrolment.
Admission into the school is based on available space, age suitability, previous academic record, entrance assessment or placement review, document verification, payment of approved fees, and acceptance of the school’s rules and expectations.
Admission Sections
Infopath Academy may admit learners into the following sections, depending on available space and approved class structure:
- Early Years Education
- Primary Education
- Junior Secondary Education
- Senior Secondary Education
Admission into any class is subject to the school’s admission guidelines and the readiness of the applicant for the class being applied for.
Application Process
Parents or guardians may apply for admission through the school’s online admission portal or by visiting the school Admissions Office.
Applicants are expected to provide accurate personal, academic, and parent or guardian information. The school may request documents such as birth certificate, previous school result, transfer certificate, passport photograph, health information, and any other document required by the Admissions Office.
All application forms must be completed carefully. Any false, incomplete, or misleading information may delay the application or lead to cancellation of admission.
Application Fee
An application fee may be required as part of the admission process. Where applicable, applicants must pay the approved application fee through the official school payment channel.
Payment of an application fee does not automatically guarantee admission. It only allows the school to process and review the application.
Entrance Assessment and Placement Review
Applicants may be required to participate in an entrance assessment, oral interaction, document verification, or placement review.
The purpose of the assessment is to determine the applicant’s academic readiness, confidence level, learning needs, and suitability for the class being applied for.
For younger learners, the school may use simple interaction, observation, and age-appropriate activities instead of formal written assessment.
Admission Decision
After reviewing the application, documents, payment status, and assessment outcome where applicable, the school may approve, defer, or decline the application.
Successful applicants may receive a provisional offer of admission. This offer may include the admission number, class placement, registration instructions, payment guide, student expectations, and login details where available.
Provisional Admission
All admission offers are provisional until the applicant has completed the full registration process.
Provisional admission becomes valid only after:
- All required documents have been submitted and verified
- Approved fees have been paid
- Class-based requirements have been completed where applicable
- Parent or guardian details have been confirmed
- The applicant has accepted the school’s rules and expectations
- The school has confirmed final enrolment
- Registration and Enrolment
A learner is considered fully enrolled only after the school has confirmed that all registration requirements have been met.
Parents and guardians are expected to complete registration within the period stated by the Admissions Office. Failure to complete registration within the approved period may lead to withdrawal of the admission offer.
Parent and Guardian Responsibility
Parents and guardians are expected to:
- Provide accurate information during application
- Submit valid and complete documents
- Pay approved fees through official school channels
- Keep application references and receipts safely
- Attend assessment or interview sessions where required
- Support the child’s punctuality, attendance, discipline, and learning
- Maintain active communication with the school
Admission Withdrawal
Infopath Academy reserves the right to withdraw an admission offer if false information is discovered, documents are found to be invalid, required payments are not completed, or the applicant fails to meet the school’s admission conditions.
Equal and Fair Consideration
Infopath Academy is committed to treating applicants with fairness, respect, and professionalism. Admission decisions are made based on school policy, class capacity, learner readiness, and the best interest of the school community.
Policy Review
This policy may be reviewed periodically by the school management to ensure that the admission process remains clear, fair, and effective.
